Distinguished Alumnus:
Dr. Don Basse

At Henderson State University's 2006 Founder's Day celebration, we were pleased and honored to recognized honor Dr. Don Basse for his achievements in the years since he graduated from Henderson with his psychology degree.

After earning his doctorate in Counselor Education from the University of Arkansas, Dr. Basse served in numerous capacities in his career in academia, including professor, psychology department chair, and graduate dean. Adams State College in Colorado has had the privilege of his service for over twenty years, and we feel privileged to have welcomed him back to HSU for entry into the rolls of the Henderson Academy of distinguished alumni.
