Marian Breland Bailey was a pioneer in the science of behavior analysis, authoring and co-authoring works widely considered to be milestones in the history of psychology. Our department was most fortunate to count her among our faculty from 1981 to 1998. The Marian Breland Bailey Endowed Scholarship established in her honor annually recognizes outstanding juniors and seniors who show exceptional promise as scholars, commitment to the discipline, and potential for advancing psychological science.
