Titles of Jobs for Individuals With
Bachelor’s Degrees in Psychology
© copyright 2000-2006 Travis Langley - Henderson State University

The following is a list of job titles which were compiled from actual job descriptions available from a variety of sources.  This is only a partial list to provide examples of the kinds of jobs obtainable with a bachelor's degree in psychology.  Some require experience in addition to the degree.  We offer this list to broaden students’ perspectives on the kinds of jobs which are likely to be available in human services and to make students aware of specific titles of jobs when they begin their job search.

Notice that there is a wide range of jobs, ranging from various kinds of assistants on up to counselors, supervisors, managers, and more.  Some of our recent graduates work for youth facilities, psychologists, attorneys, universities, advertisers, social services, family services, corrections, MTV (yes, I'm serious), personnel offices, labs, industries, and much more.

The degree provides an excellent background for a wide variety of professions that involve working with people.

We will be adding to this list to provide you an even more comprehensive view of the many, many jobs available to individuals with a bachelor's degree in psychology, but we can never present a complete list.  There's some psychology in everything people do.

Please contact the Department Webmaster with questions or suggested additions.  If you have a bachelor's degree in psychology and don't see your occupation on the list, please let us know.
