Iskander Akhmadullin

Iskander Akhmadullin is an outstanding young trumpeter from Moscow, Russia.  A finalist in the 1995 Moscow International Trumpet Competition and a graduate of the Moscow Conservatory, he is currently studying at the University of North Texas.  He is a wonderful musician, a gentleman, and an inspiration to students.

Akhmadullin's education was at the Music School and Kazan Music College in Kazan, Tartarstan and the Moscow Conservatory.  Akhmadullin was a member of the Moscow Radio Symphony Orchestra (including tours to Japan) and the Moscow Fanfares, a professional trumpet quartet.
