Dr. Tom Stait will be in residence on November 18th and 19th.

Terry Warburton was on campus on November 6th to talk to the brass students about his mouthpieces.

Clay Harris will perform the Haydn Trumpet Concerto on January 13th with the Texarkana Symphony Orchestra.

Logan Place receives the Doctor of Musical Arts in Trumpet Performance from the University of North Texas.

Chapter of the International Trumpet Guild will be formed next fall:
    Officers for the new chapter will be:
        Daniel Wilson, President
        Dillon Davis, Vice-President
        Britt Kennedy, Secretary-Treasurer
Goals of the chapter include sponsoring guest artists, the formation of a trumpet ensemble, master classes, solo performance opportunities, and advancing trumpet playing in the public schools; all trumpeters at Henderson State University are invited to join, and we will establish an alumni membership status as well

 review of Handel's Messiah with the Arkansas Choral Society:
