A. E. Edwards was born and raised in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, graduating from Watson Chapel High school in 1997.  She received her Bachelor of Arts in Language and Literature from Louisiana Tech University in 2003.  Since then, she has moved back to Arkansas with her husband of four years, who is in the graduate program in Ceramics at University of Arkansas.  "The Crusaders", her ten-minute play, was produced at the University Theatre at Louisiana Tech during a Ten-Minute Play Festival in October of 2003.  Her poetry has been published in "Poesia" a literary quarterly in Fayetteville.  Currently in her first year of the MFA Playwriting program at the University of Arkansas, Edwards works as the Ticket Office Manager at the University Theatre.
